We were so touched when the Worthington Elks Lodge #2287 donated to the Cottage in the peak of the Covid outbreak.  Now that we are on the path to a pandemic recovery, the Elks have picked up momentum and donated a very generous gift of $5500!  Our local Elks support the Cottage and the community beyond our expectations.

According to Exalted Ruler David Janssen Lodge #2287 of Worthington “As Elks members, it has always been our focus to help others. With that being said, our main focus is veterans, youth and community. The Hospice Cottage is a community made up of all those items. We Elks are honored to be of assistance in any way we can. Thanks for your commitment to those in need in the toughest of times. Remember to always ‘Choose Happy’.”

Our endowment fund is used exclusively for families who may not have the means to support their loved ones in their final chapter. Since the start of the endowment, the Sunset Hospice Cottage has never turned anyone away due to financial limitations.  This generous gift from the Elks allows us to carry this objective even further into the future.

We are looking forward to seeing so many of you face to face at our annual fundraiser on November 13^th and hopefully we can build on the generosity of the Elks!
